In fulfilment of its ongoing commitment to take the concept of eyewear with Portuguese design to new heights, so that it is always present in the consumer's mind, Prooptica will expand the Amália Eyewear by João Rôlo capsule collection in September.

We believe that if our Fado Diva were alive, she would be dressed by João Rôlo, one of Portugal's most acclaimed designers, known for his extravagant designs and sophisticated use of materials and textures.

In the wake of Portugal Day, we want to pay tribute to these two icons of Portuguese culture and fashion, the Fado diva Amália Rodrigues and one of the most renowned haute couture designers, João Rôlo.
