World Environment Day, celebrated on 5 June, is a call to action for the preservation of our planet. At Prooptica, we believe that change starts with small gestures - and that all companies have a fundamental role to play in building a greener, more responsible and conscious future.

It is in this spirit that we are renewing our commitment to sustainability by actively supporting initiatives such as Sociedade Ponto Verde, the organisation that manages the integrated waste collection and treatment system in Portugal. Through this partnership, we reinforce our contribution to the circular economy and the correct management of resources.

But our ecological vision goes further: we have been implementing new environmental practices within the company itself, which include reducing the use of disposable materials, improving energy efficiency and promoting a more environmentally friendly internal culture.

One of the most visible aspects of this change is the introduction of ecological glasses, made from recycled or sustainably sourced materials, without compromising on quality, comfort or style. These models represent a new way of seeing - and living in - the world, in harmony with the values of environmental responsibility.

This World Environment Day, we celebrate the choices that make a difference. Because seeing the future clearly also means taking care of the planet we live on.
