About Vision Screening

The cooperation agreement provides for vision screenings for a period of two years, which will be carried out by the Amália Rodrigues Foundation in conjunction with Prooptica, which is counting on the collaboration of its clients and friends who share the same social responsibility.

The first screenings have the kind co-operation of ProlenteRui Teixeira, who will carry out the optometry consultations and provide all the technical equipment.

About the partnership with the Amália Rodrigues Foundation

Signed in August 2019, the cooperation protocol between Prooptica and the Amália Rodrigues Foundation for the line Amalia eyewear, aims to preserve the legacy of Amália Rodrigues. Therefore, and in order to fulfil the artist's wishes, which she expressed in her will, that the Amália Foundation should continue to support charitable causes, Prooptica is joining yet another initiative in a municipality with a strong connection to Amália (Odemira).
