In 2023, Prooptica launched the Duyos collection, the result of its partnership with Juan Duyos, a Madrid-based designer who is very prominent in Spanish fashion.

Juan Duyos has built a career with his own recognisable style based on his personal use of colours, fabrics, shapes and volumes, always with a disruptive and futuristic outlook, and we wanted to bring his unique style to the eyewear line. The designer was involved in the entire process of designing and publicising the brand, making this partnership very relevant and interesting.

It's the first time Prooptica has presented a Spanish brand and we're very excited about the impact it will have on the entire Iberian market.

The collection

The collection, entirely dedicated to women, stands out for its intense patterns and plays on colour. We were inspired by the latest trends and uniquely combined design with a combination of colours, transparencies, patterns and neon, creating disruptive and irreverent pieces that are always elegant and sophisticated, following the line and inspiration of the Duyos brand.

Each model has been designed to the highest quality standards and with incredible attention to detail. The design team is a pioneer in the study of colour, so the selection of colours was rigorous and meticulous, combining more than 200 colour references inspired by the world of fashion.

The frames are made from high-quality materials and offer superior resistance, providing maximum comfort and durability.

The Duyos woman is a creative romantic, typically urban, with a youthful and versatile look. She loves trying different things and taking risks when it comes to dressing, because she can - and does - mix colours, prints, textures and overlays very well, without losing harmony.
