Prooptica carries out vision screening at Brejão Cultural Centre

Within the framework of the Cooperation Protocol signed with the Brejão Cultural Centre n October 2021, Prooptica carried out another visual diagnosis screening, which included offering lenses and frames to people at socio-economic risk in the municipality of Odemira.

The vision screening actions are the result of a partnership with Amália Rodrigues Foundation and aim to fulfil the wishes of Mrs Amália Rodrigues, who, in her will, expressed her desire for the Amália Foundation to support charitable causes in the municipality with which she had strong relations.

This is yet another initiative that is the result of a strong policy of social responsibility that we have been developing for several years with various institutions supporting young people at risk and, more recently, extending to the senior population.

Prooptica has the kind co-operation of Prolente which, in the person of Mr Rui Teixeira, carries out the screening consultations and provides all the necessary technical equipment, to whom we extend a special thank you.

For the CEO of Prooptica, Luis Justino, This initiative fulfils Prooptica's goal of "helping to create a vibrant, demanding civil society that builds the country we aspire to be".
