PORTUGAL DAY | Prooptica bets on Portuguese fashion and culture

Prooptica is a leading company in the optical sector, recognised for its solid and consistent strategy of enhancing Portuguese fashion and culture.

We take advantage of this celebration of Portugal Day to honour the history and culture of the Portuguese people, as well as the history of Prooptica and its relationship with Portuguese fashion.

In 2023 Prooptica celebrates 30 years of existence and for the last 22 years we have been strongly committed to a strategy of developing eyewear for brands and personalities that are relevant in the context of national fashion.

From the launch of our first collection in partnership with João Rolo to the present day, we have travelled a long but rewarding road. We have overcome every difficulty and continued to invest and innovate in design, materials, production quality and the image of our collections.

We innovate and take Portugal's name even further by developing collections for brands such as Lanidor, Quebramar, Dielmar, Throtleman and Amália eyewear. These lines have a totally Portuguese DNA and have become extremely important in the diversity of products in opticians in: Portugal, Spain, PALOPS, among others.

Taking stock of these 22 years of dedication to Portuguese fashion and culture, we can celebrate the absolute success of this strategic commitment that took two decades to build. This commitment is a symbol of our autonomy and a totally differentiating factor for our company in the market. We are certain that we have created highly relevant value for our partners and for the end consumer.

In this celebration of Portugal Day, we would like to thank everyone who has been part of this journey and reaffirm with us our desire to continue investing in and elevating Portuguese fashion and culture.

With our eyes set on the future, we will continue to grow and build history together.

We are proud to be Portuguese!
