On 11 December 2023, Prooptica carried out another visual diagnosis screening, which included offering lenses and frames to residents at socio-economic risk in the municipality of Odemira.

These visual screening activities are carried out under the Cooperation Protocol signed with the Brejão Cultural Centre and are the result of our partnership with Amália Rodrigues Foundation.

Prooptica has the kind co-operation of Prolente which, in the person of Dr Rui Teixeira, carries out the screening consultations and provides all the necessary technical equipment, to whom we extend a special thank you.

This is yet another initiative that is the result of a strong policy of social responsibility that we have been developing for several years with various institutions that support young people at risk and, more recently, have extended to the senior population. We feel it is extremely important to help organisations and projects that contribute to the eradication of poverty and to human and sustainable development, improving the day-to-day lives of so many people in need.
