World Physical Activity Day and International Sports Day

On 6 April, we celebrate two important dates related to raising awareness of health and well-being: World Physical Activity Day and International Sports Day. These dates aim to raise awareness of the importance of regular physical exercise and sport in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Physical activity plays a fundamental role in the prevention of various diseases and contributes to improving mental health by reducing levels of stress, anxiety and depression. On the other hand, sport promotes values such as teamwork, fair play, discipline and respect, and is essential for physical, emotional and social development.

So, as we celebrate World Physical Activity Day and International Sports Day, it's important to reflect on the positive impact that regular exercise and sport can have on our lives and on society in general, and to commit to promoting these values throughout the year.
